What does it mean to let go,and let God?

Well in life people think it is better to handle all their problems on their own. They think that they do not need anyone to help them or need anyone to turn to. If your a Christian and you are reading this you and i both know that when we are faced with a trial and tribulation it is best for you to "let go, and let God". Now what does that exactly mean?

When you let go, and let God you are confessing with your mouth that you are weak and you need a savior to help you. When you let go of your problems, hurt, worries, confusion, etc. You are allowing God to use you and you are trusting in God to make a way in your life. In Jeremiah 29:11 it says " For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." God knows exactly what hes doing in your life. He just wants you to let go and trust in him. His plans for your life is bigger then you can possibly imagine. When you truly trust in him and give your life to him you allow your self to be used like never before.

In Proverbs 3:5-6 " Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." This verse clearly states what it means to let go and let God. It means to trust in God with all your heart. It means that you can not lean on your own thoughts your own desires but lean on God and believe he will set your paths straight. There may be times when you are weak and you feel like God has forgotten you. But understand that God will not put you through anything you can not handle. In I Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

It is easier for us to trust in money, friends, family, and everything we can see. But to trust God with our life? It seems a little too much to ask for right? But that's just it!! We allow our hearts and mind to only trust in what we are able to see but did you forget about the verse in 2 Corinthians 5:7 " for we walk by faith, not by sight." God is only allowing you to face trials and tribulations because he is putting your faith to test. He wants to see how far you are willing to go when it comes to trusting him with your life? Psalm 37:3-6 Commit your way to the Lord;trust in him, and he will act.He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday".

Stop holding onto your problems. Stop turning your back on God when things get tough in life. Stop finding excuses to be angry at God. Stop allowing yourself to be destroyed by your trials and tribulations. Stop trying to handle every thing on your own. You need to just LET GO, LET GOD!!!!
